Ambassadors to Host Community Listening Session
On September 28 from 5:30-6:45 p.m., Youth Forward MKE and its youth ambassadors will be holding an online listening session via Zoom to help shape the Autonomous Youth Council and inform our future advocacy efforts. Community members interested in youth empowerment, education, education policy or youth organizing are encouraged to attend.
The ambassadors are particularly looking for feedback to help inform the structure and focus of the council. Attendees will be asked to consider and discuss three broad questions: What should students learn? How should students learn? And who should students learn from?
Attendees will also discover why community voice is so important to this process, as well as how their suggestions will be used.
